Mahdia is a coastal town located 230 kilometers south of the capital Tunis. It has the second largest fishing port in the country. The destination attracts many tourists: its beautiful hotels, white sand beaches and history make it one of the most popular resorts in Tunisia.

Mahdia has splendid monuments: The Skifa Kahla is the most famous historical site in the city, it is also one of the most important Islamic monuments in the Maghreb.
