Djerba the dream island

Djerba is an island located southeast of Tunisia, about 50 miles north of Medenine, between the peninsulas Jorf and Zarzis. This island paradise surrounded by the azure blue of the Mediterranean, continues to dazzle its visitors. It offers guests a calm and relaxed way of life, which makes it an ideal place for an unforgettable vacation.

It quickly become one of the most popular thanks to its sunny weather tourist destinations, its crystal blue waters and the beauty of its landscapes.

The old town also has a certain charm. The souks located in the narrow streets of the Medina offer all kinds of goods, there are fabrics, carpets, spices, jewelry, crafts ... In the souks, are four religious monuments Zaouia Sidi Brahim El Jemni, Jemaa El Ghorba (mosque of foreigners), and Djemaa-Trouk (mosque of the Turks) and Ech-Cheikh mosque.

It is home to the annual festival of Ulysses which organizes folk performances, sporting and cultural.
Apart from the typical Djerba Menzel, one can find newer homes that combine modern and traditional architecture. The tourist zone offers, in turn, villas with swimming pool offering magnificent views of the sea, however, the dominant colors are white and blue.; white for masonry and blue for windows and doors.
